What's your location?
I live in the Other Vancouver... the southern one.
How long have you played Guild Wars?
Since the first minute of the World Preview Event. My wife and I discovered GW right as the E3 for Everyone event was ending, but I never got the download completed before the event ended.
What are your favorite characters?
I planned to make my primary character a Warrior/Necro, but ended up making a Monk because they were so rare after release. Eventually I came to identify much more strongly with the Monk than the warrior, and though I love the war/nec, it's the Mo/Me I always log in first.
What is your gaming background?
Hmm... how far back? I burned the controls out on my Pong! game back in the 70's. I used to own every Forgotten Realms game ever made for the PC, though I can't say that anymore. I spent years addicted to online text games called MUD's, and eventually migrated to graphical multiplayer games.
What is your online experience?
My first trip on the Information Superhighway was on a screaming fast 1200 BAUD modem back in the day of Arpanet. However life changes and it was quite a long time before I became a real 'Netizen... just before I went back to college about 10 years ago I guess. Prodigy FTW!!!
How long have you been in TeG?
I created the guild, so I guess the answer to that question is 'always'
What do you like best about TeG?
I like to say that we are a mature guild full of grown-up players, but now it might be more accurate to say taht we are a grown up guild full of mature players. There is very little gnashing of teeth, or beating of chests going on in TeG. Hopefully because the members trust and respect each other enough to speak their minds before jokes turn to injuries.
What is your favorite Guild Wars moment?
Hmm... completing Abbadons Mouth with a guild group while wearing my santa hat and wielding a fell blade? Flawless Victory against XoO? That cinematic that ends in 'Welcome to Lions Arch'? Nah... I think it was the Naked Dance Party on the mosaic in Hall of the Dead when tB first joined us.
What's on your mouse pad?
Prolly several tons of garbage by now... I haven't owned one since I got my trackball 7 years ago :P
Why am I here?
If I knew that I would probably be somewhere else. Probably off writing a book on philosophy LOL
