Who are you?
My real name is Glennis, but you know me here as Effie. My favourite cousin use to call me that - but we could never determine why! In game of course I'm Marg (Delahunty) which is Gram spelt backward - what my grand kids call me.

Calgary, Alberta - Canada.
How long have you played Guild Wars?
Apparently I started play GW in June /05 - at least that's what the bill of sale from EB says.
What are your favorite characters?
Marg of course is my favourite - and I do most of the stuff with her. Justina(W), Polly(E), and Ravina(N) get limited use.
What is your gaming background?
I started playing games because my grandson wanted to rent a Nintendo one Christmas when he was visiting. My initial question was "What's Nintendo?". Needless to say, I got hooked. Got my own Super Nintendo, graduated to PS1 and then to PS2. All the Tomb Raider games, Resident Evil, Final Fantasy, and others to numerous to mention - mostly RPGs. Then about 3 years ago we got a computer. Morrowind and all its expansions became the game for me - until the nice man at EB recommended GW.
What is your online experience?
3 years ago when we got our computer - a first! Internet! Wow! Then the at home game, then of course, GW. I've learned how to make pictures, edit photos, even made a web page (hosted but not indexed) using notepad.
How long have you been in TeG?
Chay invited me to join TeG last December. I had posted on the GW site re RL Women gamers and they were planning to have a get together in Serenity Temple. Prior to that I had been in a couple of little guilds - one was some of the people I knew from Morrowind gaming, but hardly anyone was ever on.
What do you like best about TeG?
Being able to play with real people, learning how to do stuff from them. Just chatting, messing around a bit, and generally having fun. And as Chay said, the nekkid dance parties. Everyone is so nice, friendly and helpful! What's not to like?
What is your favorite Guild Wars moment?
There are so many events in GW that it's hard to really pick a favourite. Beating the final Hell's mission with the henchies. Going up Dreadnought's Drift with Blaze so he could cap Feast of Corruption. Ben teaching Justina how to farm Minotaurs and Desert Griffins. Helping someone (and I can't remember who it was) do Eater of Souls secondary profession quest - then having the necro leave us a little surprise - all the minions when she logged off. Going into Tombs for the first time with the Guild group, - ditto Sorrows Furnace, FoW and UW. But I guess the big "YES" was finally getting to 100% when I was exploring Tyria.

That's a very personal question! Marvin the Martian. My favourite cartoon character.
Why am I here?
Here, here? or Here TeG? Here, because my husband lives here, and I kinda like him a lot. Nah, I really love him a lot. TeG, because I can't believe I actually lucked into getting asked to join such a great bunch of people.
If you could talk with anyone living or dead, who would it be?
My dad - after 32 years I still miss him a lot.
